WT2000 Wind Turbines

Based on the modular design concept of platform, WT2000 series doubly-fed wind turbines provides customized scheme design of 2 - 2.2MW power level, 80 - 140m tower and 103 - 131m rotor diameter for different wind resource areas, and pursues the balance between unit reliability and optimal power generation of the whole farm. Moreover, the WT2000 platform has passed the certification of the China General Certification Center which is a domestic authoritative certification authority and the type certification of DNV.GL.

Customized solutions like low noise, aerothermal de-icing and power increase of vortex generator are provided for the WT2000 unit, and the optimal power control can be performed according to specific sites. A large number of units have been installed and operated in Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Guizhou, Gansu and Ningxia. The maturity and reliability of this platform have been fully verified, and the operation indexes and power generation performance are proven to be excellent.

Guarantee design of high efficiency power generation performance

  1. Blade components have excellent aeroperformance, and the swept area per kilowatt is larger than that of conventional models;

  2. A number of advanced control technologies such as “optimal pitch angle scheduling”, “modal gain optimization design and schedul- ing” and “optimal yaw to the wind based on wind direction compensation” are integrated to greatly improve the power generation performance;

  3. Under the annual average wind speed of 5.5m/s, the equivalent full-load hours of WT2000D121 unit can reach more than 2,100 hours;

  4. Under the annual average wind speed of 5m/s, the equivalent full-load hours of WT2200D131 unit can reach more than 2,000 hours.

Special design for environmental adaptability

  1. Strong environmental adaptability, excellent resistance to low temperature, condensation, salt erosion, sandstorm, thunderstorm and ultraviolet radiation;

  2. The plain type units can adapt to the altitude below 2,500m; and the plateau type units can adapt to the altitude below 4,000m;

  3. Convenient energy management platform can greatly reduce the impact of wind power on the power grid and improve the access capacity of wind power.
