WT2500 Wind Turbines

WT2500 wind turbines take “the minimum cost of energy in the life cycle of wind turbines” as the design goal, and relies on the advanced WindProfitTM technology platform to realize the platform-based and modular design of products; and the products have high reliability, low transportation cost and low maintenance cost, and can be customized to adapt to the wind farm with an altitude of 3,000-4,000m.

Main Performance And Characteristics

Guarantee design of high efficiency power generation performance

  1. The blade has excellent aeroperformance. Combined with advanced load control technology, the swept area per kilowatt is larger than that of conventional models;

  2. The electrical efficiency is increased by 0.8% by adopting the high-efficiency electrical drive train scheme;

  3. Power optimization and flexible control are made for specific sites to improve the annual power generation of single unit and the whole site;

  4. Under the annual average wind speed of 5.3m/s, the equivalent full-load hours of WT2500D131 unit can reach more than 2,000 hours;

  5. Under the annual average wind speed of 4.8m/s, the equivalent full-load hours of WT2500D146 unit can reach more than 2,060 hours.

Special design for environmental adaptability

  1. Strong environmental adaptability, excellent resistance to low temperature, condensation, salt erosion, sandstorm, thunderstorm and ultraviolet radiation;

  2. Altitude: Conventional units can adapt to the altitude below 3,000m; and the high altitude units can adapt to the altitude below 4,000m;

  3. The tower is light in weight and the overall transport cost is low;

  4. Level of wind site: the products cover IEC I, IEC II and IEC III, low wind speed wind site and ultra-low wind speed wind site.

Strict security design

  1. The design is carried out according to the latest version of IEC standard and GL standard, and the unit has high safety performance;

  2. The safety system adopts the design concept of redundancy and failure safety;

  3. Type test and reliability growth test are conducted for key components.
